Thanks for highlighting Betsy! I love her stuff!

I have a suggestion for future too — Mindy Goodall of Ivan and Mary. She makes belts, handbags etc… Her stuff is sold online at IvanandMary.com and locally at Novel. She does this while her young children are napping!

    Great site!

I think this is a fabulous idea, too!

I have a business as a professional face painter. I offer face painting, glitter tattoos and henna tattoos anywhere you need to draw or entertain a crowd. As the mother of 5 children, I have lots of models to practice on! To see samples of my work, go to http://www.expressionsfacepainting.com.

I have recently added maternity art (pregnant belly painting!) to my offerings. Never seen a painted belly? Three examples are on my website. Pass the word as I am always looking for new “canvases!”

  7. Leslie Chisholm Says:

This is such a wonderful service you provide; I am so glad I discovered you! I am passionate about creating refined, organic, and elegant jewelry. I also love to recycle vintage findings to use as a finishing touch to my work. My website is http://www.lesliechisholmcom. I am the mother of two grown sons; does that count? I look forward to hearing about other local women entrepreneurs. Thank you so much!

    Hi:
I have just discovered C’ville Entremom and I’m absolutely ecstatic! I never knew there were so many cool moms who are also entrepreneurs in C-ville! I bought my business — Champion Tutoring — when the company was already a decade old; we just celebrated our 15th anniversary, just as I too have become a first-time mom. It’s been a challenging year for me, but finding resources and networks like your site inspires me to keep my chin up! In just a few minutes, I’ve already learned about a bunch off cool businesses whose products I’d like to purchase. And, I feel inspired by all these fantastic entremoms! I am proud of the high-quality teaching that Champion Tutoring provides — check us out at http://www.championtutoring.com — and I’m excited to learn about other entrepreneurs who are also following their passion.
Thank you so much — keep doing what you’re doing… It’s FABULOUS!

  9. Michelle English Says:

WOW! You, go girl! I love what you’ve done with this site! Can’t wait to tell my friends about you.
My own Entremom story began when I left the work force to start a family. Being home full-time renewed my passion for home design. Living on one income honed my ability (and need) for treasure hunting and recycling. Raising three kids challenged me to create both a beautiful and functional home for our family. The result was a certification in home staging and redesign and a new business: Savvy Stager, Home Staging & Redesign http://www.savvystagerva.com.
My redesign clients are so surprised by how quickly I tranform a space using what they already own! Busy homeowners benefit financially from the comparative research we do on each property and the partnerships we have with Realtors to stage homes to sell. Unlike interior designers, who design for the homeowner’s particular style, professional home stagers are specifically trained to design homes for buyers and collaborate with Realtors to ensure wide-buyer appeal. See the differences at http://www.savvystagerva.com.
Can’t wait to attend your next Entremom social!!

  10. Susanna Nicholson Says:

    Hi Angie.

I’m a friend of Jen and David… also a client of Birch Studios … and I couldn’t agree more about the “value added”. I operate a very unusual business (therapeutic yoga classes, prenatal yoga, yoga for cancer etc). Jen and David totally roll with the most difficult requests. I asked them to refine my site for specific goals. I had increased business and more gender equity in about 6 months after the web redesign. It’s a mysterious thing, but it works!

I’ve been an “entremom” for over 9 years now and I highly recommend it for creative, busy moms. Please check out my buddy Jody Plaisance’s business Abrakadbra…one of the best stylists in town and the mother of an absolutely adorable baby!

    Good luck with the site,
    Susanna

  11. Jennifer Zoll Says:

    Hi Angie,

My friend Michelle English has shared wonderful words on your behalf, so I thought I’d check out what you’ve been up to. Your photography is beautiful, something I have a passion for myself.

Having recently begun working as a organization expert, (working with individuals and small business to achieve a more organized and peaceful working environments), and upon hearing about Entremom, I’ve been eager to join forces so to speak! What a great idea. Mom’s have the usual challenges of beginning businesses however with the added difficulty of putting their families first! With four kids myself, this is definately something I can understand!

Please include me on any mailing lists and/or announcements.

Oh…an information about my business can be found on my website: http://www.zollconsulting.com

    This mom thanks you!

    Jenn
